Physician Assistant Joint Clinical and Academic Opportunities

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and University of Saskatchewan (USASK) College of Medicine have created four joint Physician Assistant (PA) positions that offer a balanced academic and clinical career pathway. These roles provide a blended opportunity to make a massive impact in Saskatchewan; leveraging your experience to apply to the next generation of Physician Assistants by supporting the Masters of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) program while providing clinical practice in our communities.

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for experienced Physicians Assistant leaders who are ready to take their career to the next level and who meet the following qualifications:
- Masters of Physician Studies degree or equivalent;
- 10+ years of clinical practice, preferably with progressive experience in program development within a post-secondary or professional program setting;
- Hold Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) or Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) designation
- Obtain membership and licensure in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) as a PA; or eligible for registration with CPSS (for applicants outside of Saskatchewan)
