Gratitude for Ian Moats: Generosity making a difference at 1D-Regina General Hospital
The Inpatient Mental Health department in Regina would like to express its appreciation and gratitude for Ian Moats. His tireless efforts have raised $150,000 towards providing extra comfort to patients staying on unit 1D, Inpatient Mental Health at Regina General Hospital.
Ian has organized a Christmas light display near the town of McLean to raise these funds. It’s a great experience that staff and patients look forward to. The display has grown significantly over the years and has become a highlight of the Christmas season.
Ian began this project after a family member spent time on unit 1D. He wanted to make a difference year-round and has succeeded immensely. Ian is regularly on the unit, volunteering with activities and delivering care packages for patients. Recently, Ian partnered with Continental Furniture and facilitated the subsidized purchase of a new washer and dryer for the unit.
We are honored to be the recipient of Ian’s generosity. His dedication and compassion help staff to ensure patients are best supported.
Thank you, Ian. Your generosity has an indelible impact!
