About This Facility

One of the Region's two major hospitals, the Regina General Hospital has a long history of providing progressive and innovative institutional health care to the people of southern Saskatchewan. In conjunction with many community health services in the Region, this acute care facility is a leader in providing a seamless system of health care to its clients.

As a major referral centre, the Regina General Hospital is staffed with many talented medical professionals experienced in a variety of specialties including cardiosciences, neurosciences and trauma care. Home to technologically-advanced medical and diagnostic equipment, the Regina General offers a full range of specialized acute care services. 

The Regina General Hospital has grown considerably since it opened as the Victoria Hospital in 1901 with 25 patient beds. Updates and renovations to the facility during 1998-99, have created new space for many specialized programs and services to meet health care needs of today and tomorrow.

Parking 

Pay-by- Plate parking is available on-site at two locations:  14th Avenue and 15th Avenue.

• Pay stations are located inside the 14th and 15th Avenue entrance, as well as inside the emergency department entrance and one location outside in the 15th Avenue lot.
• Pay for parking by entering your license plate number before paying with coin, credit card or debit. No need to return to vehicle.
• Staying longer than expected? Download the ParkMobile payment App which will allow you to purchase, extend time for parking as needed. It will also remind you when your time is about to expire. Download by scanning the QR codes on the many signs located throughout or by visiting parkmobile.io to use the convenient ParkMobile App.
• Have a hard time remembering your license plate number? Take a picture with your smartphone.
• Rates apply 24 hours per day, and are in effect for all public parkers, including those with provincially issued placards for persons with disabilities.
• Pay stations accept Canadian coins, debit card or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). They also accept smartphone payments using Apple/Android Pay.
• Machines provide no change.

$2.00 per hour
$12.00 daily maximum
$45.00 weekly pass
$120.00 monthly pass - can be purchased from the Finance Office.
