Role overview
We are looking for seniors who are interested in volunteering to form a volunteer board and learn to lead in taking over to guide the Sask Senior Connect Hub. They would help to provide input on the creation of the hub, and be trained by professionals to run and maintain the hub afterwards. We would ask for pay for their efforts.
Required knowledge, experience, skills
Be 55+ and have knowledge of seniors' preferences and barriers to social activities. See a value in empowering seniors in technology. Having knowledge of seniors in rural areas is an asset. Share a common goal or interest in helping to address rural seniors' feelings of loneliness and isolation by promoting hybrid hub community to help them age well in place.Time commitment
Hours weekly or monthly or yearly can be discussed. Meet monthly by zoom. Flex hours and at home work.

Supports available to participate
We hope to have wage to pay for services, and there will be free training.
