Gary Zabos, K.C.
Gary Zabos is a graduate of the College of Law, University of Saskatchewan. He practiced law in Saskatchewan for over 35 years, and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2007. He retired as a partner of the McDougall Gauley LLP law firm in 2018.
During his years of practice, Gary advised and represented a wide range of individual, corporate, and institutional clients, including in the health care sector. Throughout his career, he was actively involved in the activities of organizations in the legal profession, including serving on the executive of the National Insurance Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association. Gary also frequently appeared as a presenter on legal practice issues, developments in the law, ethics, and loss prevention topics for continuing legal education programs, as well as at seminars and conferences for other professional and industry associations, and is a former member of the Board of Directors of Saskatoon Crime Stoppers.
