Planning a Safe Visit
Safe Family Presence: Policy Directive
The health and safety of our staff, patients, residents and families remains our top priority. Please follow the safety measures below:
- Clean your hands
- When entering and exiting the facility/home
- When entering and exiting your loved one's room
- Do not visit if you are sick. Symptoms may include:
- Fever within the last 24 hours
- New or unexplained cough
- Runny nose and/or sore throat
- Diarrhea or vomiting
- Rash
- Conjunctivitis (eye infection or pink eye)
If there is an outbreak, visitor access may be limited to essential family/support person(s). Please contact the location of where your loved one is for additional information when planning your visit.
As an essential family/support person(s) and/or visitor, we kindly ask you to watch the following Infection Control videos (IPAC) on hand hygiene and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
