About This Facility
Whispering Pine Place is a pet friendly home with 29 long-term care beds and one respite bed. We have free parking for family and visitors. Whispering Pine Place is also home to our two resident cats along with two large fish tanks. Our home is a wonderful open concept home with several indoor sitting areas for families and residents to enjoy.
Each resident has their own private room and their own washroom. Rooms contain a bed, bedside table, curtains on the windows and a rather large closet. All meals are home cooked and served in a large open dining room that creates a home like environment.
Professionally trained nursing staff care for resident needs, 24 hours a day. We have a great recreation program, in-house laundry services and daily housekeeping. We have a beautiful hair dressing room, two large tub rooms with a towel warmer and a chapel for residents and families to use.
At Whispering Pine Place we have remarkable staff. The exceptional care and dedication they exhibit go beyond their professional duties. They consistently go the extra mile to create a warm and welcoming home-like environment for our residents. The compassion, kindness, and attentiveness of our staff are truly unparalleled, and their efforts are recognized and appreciated by all who have the privilege of being part of our home.
Here at Whispering Pine Place, our outdoor space has been transformed into a beautifully landscaped yard, adorned with an abundance of flowers and a well-maintained garden. The vibrant colors and delightful fragrances create a serene and visually captivating environment for all to enjoy. The dedication and expertise of our gardening team have truly made our outdoor area a sight to behold.
In addition, we have a large open air gazebo. This splendid structure serves as a perfect retreat for our residents to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature while relishing the fresh air. Whether it be for reading, socializing, listening to music or simply finding some solace, the open air gazebo provides a comfortable and shaded haven for our residents to unwind and appreciate the surrounding tranquility.
In addition to the open air gazebo, we also have an enclosed gazebo exclusively available for families to book for special events. This private space offers a perfect setting for celebrations, gatherings, and other occasions. We recognize the importance of family and understand the significance of creating cherished memories together. The enclosed gazebo will ensure that these moments are shared in a picturesque environment that complements the joyous atmosphere of the occasion.
To further enhance accessibility, we are proud to have a multi-use van for families to utilize. This dedicated vehicle is specifically designed to accommodate residents with mobility challenges, allowing them and their families to travel comfortably and conveniently. We believe that every resident deserves the opportunity to explore the world beyond our facility’s walls, and the wheelchair van aims to provide them with the freedom and independence to do so.
Our home has a bus that will enable our residents to embark on exciting outings and trips. We understand the importance of engaging with the community and providing our residents with diverse experiences. Through these outings, we hope to enrich their lives, promote social interactions, and foster a sense of connection beyond the long-term care home. Our dedicated staff will ensure excursions are well planned and enjoyable for all.
