Kidney Health Community Program
The Kidney Health Community Program was developed to assist the increasing number of people in Saskatchewan with chronic kidney disease. It is a program exclusive to the Northern Saskatchewan Kidney Health Program that provides education and screening to communities at risk for chronic kidney disease.
We work with communities in northern and central Saskatchewan to raise awareness and provide education about common causes and risk factors for the disease. The team partners with the other organizations to prevent kidney disease by promoting healthy lifestyle choices, and referring patients to other health promotion or chronic disease management programs.
