What is a Carpenter Locksmith?
As a carpenter locksmith, you will construct, renovate, maintain and repair buildings and structures made of wood and other materials incorporating new technologies and codes. You will also install and repair various lock and latch sets, work with card access systems, panic bars, magnetic locks, industrial locking mechanisms and high security key systems to provide different degrees of access for different individuals.

How do I become a Carpenter Locksmith?
To work as a Carpenter Locksmith, you will require:
- Saskatchewan Polytechnic Journeyperson Carpentry certificate. The 32-week program is offered as well by local regional colleges or through part-time distance flexible learning.
