Kindersley welcomes internationally educated nurses
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) recently welcomed two internationally educated nurses to Kindersley and District Health Centre. Michael Cuaresma and Rohilda Mallari arrived from the Philippines to Saskatchewan in late 2023 to begin the clinical portion of the Transition to Registered Nursing in Canada.
“Michael and Rohilda have seamlessly integrated into their roles and demonstrate high acuity, enthusiasm, and motivation,” said Anika Becker, Clinical Services Manager in Kindersley. “As a rural community, we are grateful when welcoming individuals that are skilled and excited to be a part of our team.”
“I want to make a positive impact on patients by delivering efficient, high-quality care, and I am proud to be a part of the health-care team in Kindersley,” said Cuaresma. “I am thankful to the SHA, my manager, and colleagues for their support.”
“As an internationally educated nurse, I am grateful for this opportunity,” Mallari said. “It is an honour to be a part of collaborative efforts to provide compassionate and effective care for residents of Kindersley.”
