Reduced access to RGH parkade due to construction
Between Monday, May 12 to late June, access to the Regina General Hospital (RGH) parkade will only be through the 14th Avenue entrance due to a City of Regina construction project on 13th Avenue.
The RGH parkade will remain open but the 13th Avenue parkade entrance will be temporarily closed for about six weeks. Be sure to plan extra time for coming to or leaving the hospital and pay close attention to signs and construction zone safety. Patients and visitors should consider using the 15th Avenue entrance to avoid congestion at the 14th Avenue main entrance, whenever possible.
Surface parking in the 13th Avenue lot will be available but may be reduced to one entry point. Street parking along 13th Avenue will be limited or unavailable during construction. Staff, patients and visitors are reminded not to use Toronto Street to get to the parkade or the hospital to ensure emergency medical services (EMS) have priority access. EMS is not expected to be impacted by construction.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority appreciates your patience and cooperation of during this temporary disruption. For updates on the 13th Avenue construction project, visit the City of Regina website.
