A survivor’s perspective: New centre, new hope
At 29, Briana Bolduc was diagnosed with triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma, a rare, aggressive form of breast cancer that quickly progressed into inflammatory breast cancer. Briana, now five-years-cancer-free, is grateful for the compassionate professionals who made the new Regina Breast Health centre possible.
Visiting the new Regina Breast Health Centre, she was comforted by the welcoming atmosphere of bright colours, calming art, and patient-centered design. With imaging, consultations and treatment under one roof, patients can now follow a smoother, more streamlined care journey.
“It’s the people who make all the difference,” said Briana.
As a member of Inpower, a non-profit organization that supports women with breast cancer in Regina and surrounding area, Briana continues to give back. She sees the new centre as a symbol of hope and progress for breast health in Saskatchewan.
“Let’s ring the bell for a brighter future—for all of us.”
