Wascana Rehabilitation Centre promotes and celebrates hydration
A recent event in Regina promoting hydration as a way to reduce urinary tract infections and unnecessary tests and treatments, was a huge success, with 50 residents and more than 100 staff and family members joining for an afternoon filled with laughter and learning. Highlights included interactive games, tasty drinks, and door prizes.
One of the event’s most memorable moments featured resident Dana Dynna, who enthusiastically joined in the activities—including a sponge toss with Recreation Therapy staff members, Gordon Duncan and Nicholas Zimroz.
This celebration would not have been possible without the generosity of our donors: Cornerstone Medical, Schaan Health Care, Valuemed, and Gojo.
Organized by Infection Prevention and Control, Recreation Therapy, Nutrition and Food services, and Antimicrobial Stewardship, this event highlights what is possible when teams work together to support quality of life for our residents. Thank you to everyone—residents, families, staff, and donors—who helped make the day such a meaningful success!
