Phone service down in parts of west central Saskatchewan

SaskTel is planning a telephone and internet service disruption in the Biggar area -  including the Rural Municipalities of Rosemount, Biggar, Glenside, and Eagle Creek -  between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. on February 24, 2021.

If unable to reach 911 to access EMS for a medical emergency, residents should go to the Biggar Health Centre (BHC), or send someone to BHC to have an ambulance dispatched.

SaskTel has indicated that the outage will mainly affect the area north of Biggar. More information about the outage can be found at http://emergencyalert.saskatchewan.ca/.
