Diverse needs COVID-19 immunization clinic
The Saskatchewan Health Authority will be hosting a Diverse Needs COVID-19 Immunization Clinic in Regina for those individuals or families who may experience needle phobia, behavioural needs, diverse developmental needs or other challenges in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Diverse Needs COVID-19 Immunization Clinic aims to reduce barriers or obstacles individuals or families may face, and improve the overall comfort and experience for those individuals experiencing challenges receiving COVID-19 immunization. The clinic offers a low sensory, low stimulus family-friendly environment. Caregivers or family members may also be eligible to receive vaccination at the time of the high-needs individual’s appointment if time permits. The clinic is eligible to individuals of all ages.
