Living with COVID-19: COVID is here to stay
Though we are all ready to be done with COVID, COVID is not yet done with us. Its here to stay and we need to learn to live with the on-going risk.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority will do its part to keep you safe when you access health-care services. For right now, that means we’re continuing to follow Infection Prevention and Control guidelines set out early in the pandemic. We’re asking you to continue to mask in our facilities, and we will continue to wear our Personal Protective Equipment. We will do all we can to minimize your risk of getting COVID-19 or any other infection when you seek out health-care services in this province.
As for the public, we urge you to continue doing all you can to not get infected with COVID-19. You may continue to mask in public places. Wash your hands often. Carefully consider which events you attend and which you don’t. And most importantly, get your COVID-19 vaccine. If you do happen to contract COVID-19, the vaccine is most powerful tool we have in our toolbox to keep you from a stretch in the ICU.
