New Ambulance Service for Goodsoil/Pierceland Area

Effective November 1, 2022 the residents of the Goodsoil and Pierceland area will be served by a Saskatchewan-based ambulance service. WestMed Paramedics Inc. will temporarily operate out of Pierceland while a permanent location is explored.

Patients will continue to be transported to the closest, most appropriate facility for treatment. The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and Alberta Health Services (AHS) are working together to ensure there will be an ambulance available on either side of the border when one is requested.
