Health care aide

Health care aides provide personal assistance and support with activities of daily living to individuals in a variety of settings. Health care aides are also called nursing assistants, nurse's aides, health care assistants, home support aides, or residential support workers.

Certification of health care aides varies by province. Most provinces require health care aides to complete an approved training program.
