Integrated Regina is responsible for provincial oversight of Primary Health Care service planning and standardization as well as delivery of services within the Regina area including Acute Care, Surgical Services, Continuing Care, Tertiary Care, Primary Health Care and Mental Health and Addictions Services.
Leadership Team
Sheila Anderson - Vice President, Integrated Regina Health
Sheila Anderson is coming from her role as Executive Director of Primary Health Care Regina, where she provides operational leadership over the four Regina health networks and multiple community services and programs.
Sheila has over 25 years of health-care experience in a variety of roles including 10 years dedicated to quality improvement, system change and implementing regional initiatives across the former Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region (RQHR). As the Director of Strategic planning for RQHR in 2010/11, she successfully introduced a new strategic planning process and a corporate level daily visual management system. Sheila served as the Executive Director of Urban Primary Health Care services for the RQHR from 2014-2017, leading the design and development of Saskatchewan’s first primary health care networks. Sheila recently co-led the SHA provincial COVID-19 vaccine rollout, the largest immunization campaign in Saskatchewan history, and plays key roles on multiple provincial committees and working groups. Sheila is a collaborative leader who is passionate about improving health care and achieving results.
Dr. Rashaad Hansia - Physician Executive, Integrated Regina Health
Dr. Rashaad Hansia has served as the Physician Executive for Integrated Urban Health for the past three and a half years.
Prior to that Rashaad served as a family physician and Medical Director at the Meadow Primary Health Care Centre and was physician partner in a dyad leadership role with the Executive Director of Primary Health Care in the Regina area of the Saskatchewan Health Authority for five years.
Dr. Hansia has over 20 years of experience as a physician. In addition to individual patient care, his interest in patient-centred health system improvement from very early on in his career led him to complete Masters Degrees in Public Health and Business Administration.
He is a Canadian Certified Physician Executive with a special interest in and a passion for developing safe, high quality and high value health services and is a self-confessed lifetime learner.
Patricia Comfort - Executive Director, Primary Health Care (Provincial)
Patricia Comfort is the Provincial Executive Director, Primary Health Care. Patricia began her career in the Saskatchewan Health Authority in 2014 as a Manager leading various priorities including Connecting to Care, Seniors House Calls and Pathways. She transitioned to Urban Director roles in Regina’s East Health Network and then Clinical Integration. During the pandemic, Patricia took on an interim Executive Director role in Primary Health Care. Prior to her career with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, she worked at eHealth and private health care sectors. She has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Regina. Her education, experience and passion support her to continue to improve health care delivery for people living in Saskatchewan. Her passion for the advancement of Primary Health Care and system integration will be an asset in continuing the journey of Health Network maturity and system redesign.
Thomas Stewart - Executive Director, Acute Care Regina
Tom started his career with the former RQHR as a Senior Assist then spent his early clinical Registered Nurse years working in both Regina Emergency Departments. He has held a variety of roles over the last decade in Quality Improvement, Surgical Services, Neurosciences, and a faculty appointment with the nursing division at SaskPoly Technic.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan, a Master’s of Administration in Leadership from the University of Regina, and a Certificate in Legal Aspects of Canadian Healthcare Delivery from Dalhousie University. He is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders and a Certified Lean Leader.
Terra Olynick - Executive Director, Continuing Care Regina
Terra joins us from her position as Director, Continuing Care where she had been since January 2019. Prior to taking on that role, Terra was a leader in Primary Health Care from 2015-2019 for the former FHHR; in addition, experience teaching the Practical Nursing program and in-scope work as a Registered Nurse in a variety of areas. Terra comes with an immense depth of knowledge in Continuing Care through her work as an operational lead for a number of LTC projects, including the successful program transition and development of the Convalescent Care and Hospice programs at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre. She has been a key and integral lead in moving forward the Regina Continuing Care initiatives, including the operational lead for the Regina Specialized Long Term Care new build, as well as engaging strategically across integrated health services and with other system partners. Terra has a passion for Resident and Family Centered Care and thrives on building relationships with our Patient and Family Partners. She is an engaging leader encouraging and facilitating leadership development for members of her team, she has a strong commitment to Truth and Reconciliation in her personal and professional life and leads by example for the continuing care team.
Terra holds a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Lethbridge and is committed to ongoing leadership and professional development. She has her Certification for Excellence in Healthcare Leadership from the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy, and is LILT certified.
Zoe Teed McKay - Executive Director, Mental Health and Addiction Services, Regina and Saskatoon
Zoe has experience in a number of counseling and coordinator roles with community based organizations, and the Ministries of Social Services and Corrections, Policing, and Public Safety. Zoe’s healthcare leadership experience began in 2010 as a Manager of Youth Programs at the Calder Centre in Saskatoon. She then moved to the position of Manager of Irene and Leslie Dubé Centre for Mental Health. Zoe has been in a Director position with Mental Health & Addiction Services since 2019.
Zoe hold a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology, a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, and a Master’s degree in Social Work specializing in individual and family therapies. She has a comprehensive training history in individual and family focused intervention models, as well as in social service and justice ministry service models of care.
Sara Johnson - Executive Director, Primary Health Care Regina
With over 23 years of healthcare experience, Sara has held various leadership positions within the Saskatchewan Health Authority, guiding interdisciplinary teams in Primary Health Care and Mental Health and Addiction Services. She has led several programs and initiatives designed to provide innovative responses to patient care and service delivery issues, demonstrating her commitment to providing equitable access to high-quality and culturally responsive care for the patients and families in our community.
In May 2024, Sara completed a Master of Business Administration and holds a Master of Social Work and Bachelor's degrees in Social Work and Human Justice. Her professional development includes advanced healthcare leadership and coaching certifications, and she is a Certified Lean Leader. Passionate about continuous improvement and collaborative leadership, Sara is committed to advancing health networks and making a meaningful impact in the community.
Kerri Hysuick - Executive Director, Tertiary and Surgical Services Regina
Kerri started her career with former RQHR in 1999 as an Occupational Therapist. She held a variety of clinical roles before transitioning to a Quality Improvement Specialist, Acute Care Therapy Manager, and Director of Surgical Inpatients, Trauma and Therapies.
Kerri holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta, and a Master of Business Administration in Executive Management from Royal Roads University. Kerri is a collaborative leader that fosters a positive work culture, by promoting a collaborative environment where every team member feels valued and supported. She is passionate about improvement and embracing new challenges, and consistently pursues opportunities for growth and development in both herself and others. Kerri’s leadership will be instrumental in advancing the specialized healthcare delivered by Tertiary and Surgical Services for the people of Saskatchewan.
