Role overview
We are seeking to understand more about the experiences of families who have at least one child with cerebral visual impairment, which is visual or perceptual changes due to brain injury or neurodevelopmental injury. We are designing a research project to interview parents, family, caregivers and youth about their experiences and would like to co-partner with family partners to provide input into the design of interview questions.
Required knowledge, experience, skills
None! We are looking for people with lived experience and do not need any additional training beyond that.Time commitment
Negotiable. We are looking to get started with some discussions early in 2026. We can be flexible around the amount of time you are willing and able to share.
Location
Virtual until summer 2026 when in-person options will be available.

We are a dedicated team with the goal of improving quality of life, diagnosis, assessment and treatment for children with cerebral visual impairment. You can expect us to be transparent in our communication. We are flexible and want to collaborate with you in a way that will be meaningful to you.
