Role overview
Thanks to the incredible input of individuals across Canada, we’ve gathered over 500 questions that people want research to answer about: 1. Admission to an ICU or PICU; 2. Care received in an ICU or PICU (e.g., medicines and treatments); 3. Outcomes after an ICU or PICU stay (e.g., mental, physical, and emotional recovery for patients and families). To make this large list manageable, we grouped similar questions together, resulting in a list of 64 unique questions. Now, we need your help to identify the top 10 most important priorities for future research. Select the top 10 questions you believe are most important for guiding future ICU or PICU research: https://survey.ucalgary.ca/jfe/form/SV_ctGn4nAqvHy0DKS The survey will take up to 30 minutes to complete. Participation is entirely voluntary, and your responses will remain anonymous. This study has been approved by the University of Calgary Conjoint Health Research Ethics Board (REB24-0134). We know your time is valuable, and we are so grateful for your consideration and willingness to support this important initiative. If you have any questions, please contact Karla Krewulak at kkrewula@ucalgary.ca. Thank you for helping shape the future of ICU and PICU research.
