- Alternative Collection Container: Light green (Lithium heparin gel) 4.5mL
- Alternative Collection Container: Dark green (Lithium Heparin) 4.0mL
Collection procedure
- Aliquot and freeze required serum or plasma as soon as possible
Required volume
- Optimal Volume: 4.5 mL Full collection tube
- Minimum Volume: 1 mL serum or plasma
(Submitting the minimum volume makes it impossible to repeat the test or perform confirmatory/reflex testing. In some situations, a minimum volume may require a second collection)
