Broad Consultation – Clinical Document Development
Stakeholder feedback is an essential part of clinical document development.
- This stage in the process is where colleagues across the province have the opportunity to review and provide feedback on provincial clinical documents in development prior to being rolled out.
- Consultation assists in identifying operational gaps and content gaps prior to publishing.
- Meaningful feedback from stakeholders can help create buy in for the clinical document early, making implementation easier.
Early Feedback Prior to Broad Consultation
Early feedback from a targeted small group of identified stakeholders assists in identifying operational gaps and content gaps prior to broad consultation, and reassuring the working group they are on the right track.
Broad Consultation
Once ready for broad consultation, a draft (and support documents, if applicable) is sent out to provincial stakeholders to review and provide feedback.
- Feedback and revisions may occur multiple times, and may include sending for further content expert review.
