Clinical Engineering
About Us
Clinical Engineering provides essential support for the wide range of medical equipment used to care for patients in hospitals and health care facilities across the province.
Our team is made up of Biomedical Engineering Technologists who perform both repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for use.
Some of the most common equipment we maintain includes defibrillators; physiological monitors (displaying ECG, respiration rate, blood pressure, SpO₂, and end-tidal CO₂); and vital signs monitors (measuring temperature, blood pressure, and SpO₂). We also support hemodialysis equipment in Saskatoon and at satellite facilities in the North, as well as infant incubators, surgical microscopes, anesthesia machines, and other operating room equipment.
