In November 2024, the SHA adopted changes made to our organizational mission and values as the result of feedback provided by SHA staff and physicians.
The SHA values now spell the word CARES. Compassion. Accountability. Respect. Equity. Safety.
Caring is literally what we do.
We care about patients and families having the best possible care experience.
We care about employee and physician health-care teams.
We care that communities have access to the right provider at the right time in the right place. It’s our mission to care for the health and well-being of the people of this province.
Every day, staff and physicians show that care as they bring the SHA CARES values to life.
