Shane Merriman
Executive Director, Contracting, Procurement and Supply Management
The Contracting, Procurement and Supply Management (CPSM) Team specializes in Supply Management, urban and rural, Procurement, Contract Support Services, Transportation, Distribution and Warehousing and Business Systems Support and Analytics.
We are excited to provide more specialized services to end users and will see efficiencies from becoming one organization and achieving economies of scale, standardization and best practice optimization.
Jennifer Tennant
Director, Contract Support Services
- Oversees most external contracting requirements that touch the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) in any way with the exceptions of HR, LR and Practitioner Staff Affairs. Also excluded are those contracting requirements that fall to the Procurement Department
- Begin the oversight service with a new or renewal contractual requirement
- Works closely with Legal Affairs and other SHA staff to develop template agreements for common types of contracts that may be used by SHA Staff as a starting point
- Manage contract record stewardship and contract life cycle matters using a centralized contract repository
Janine Skolney
Director, Procurement
- Responsible to lead and manage the competitive bidding process, negotiate and secure procurement contracts, sourcing and purchasing of goods and services, and capital equipment procurement
- Facilitates all procurement processes that exceed an estimated total value of $50,000
- Work with end users to determine the appropriate strategy for their requirements, then facilitate the process until a contract is awarded or purchase is completed
Ryan Wollbaum
Director, Transportation, Distribution & Warehousing
- Responsible for maintaining transportation, distribution and warehousing operations to include:
- Fleet management
- Delivery schedules and routes
- Integrated distribution and warehouse system
- Print Services
Colin Karst
Director, Supply Chain Operations Urban
- Accountable for all supply chain functions within all Saskatoon and Regina based facilities. This includes:
- Sourcing and purchasing,
- Shipping and receiving,
- Inventory management, and
- Distribution to unit
- Ensures the right product / service is delivered to the right place, at the right time
- Strives to optimize value throughout - a high quality, cost effective product / service, delivered in an efficient, consistent manner, enabling a positive patient / resident experience
Rick Lowe
Director, Supply Chain Operations Rural
- Accountable for all supply chain functions within rural Saskatchewan EXCLUDING Saskatoon and Regina based facilities. This includes:
- Sourcing and purchasing,
- Shipping and receiving,
- Inventory management, and
- Distribution to unit
- Ensures the right product / service is delivered to the right place, at the right time
- Strives to optimize value throughout - a high quality, cost effective product / service, delivered in an efficient, consistent manner, enabling a positive patient / resident experience
Val Klassen
Director, Business Systems Support & Analytics
- Provides Administration Information Management System (AIMS) support to CPSM teams, SHA requisitioners and other health system partners on a provincial basis
