Signage Standards
The brand and visual identity of the Saskatchewan Health Authority extends throughout our organization, providing patients, residents, visitors, and staff with consistent visual cues that are recognizable no matter where in the province they are. That consistency is important to maintain, as it helps to create environments that reduce stress, anxiety, and fear.
The SHA Signage Standards provide guidelines to ensure all who visit, live in, or work in our facilities can expect to find consistent, reliable and relevant signage throughout the SHA.
In the Signage Standards document you will find information and guidelines on interior, exterior and wayfinding signage. These guidelines will help inform the development and design of any SHA signage, providing options that also fall within our brand guidelines.
Within the document you can also find valuable information such as:
-
Name Change Checklist, a simple tool to assist in the process of changing a facility name
-
Guide for use of abbreviations, acronyms, and alternate names on signage
-
Brand hierarchy for exterior signage
-
Icons for wayfinding
If you have questions about the Signage Standards please contact Communications.
Note: Community Engagement and Communications does NOT source or order signage. We can assist in design and provide feedback and guidance to ensure all signage, visual ID, and brand standards are followed.
