Personal Use of Social Media
As SHA employees, your personal social media accounts may face public and political scrutiny. This is because the actions and behaviors of staff and leaders are connected to the overall reputation of the organization. As a result, your activity on social media may be interpreted as representing the position of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. For leaders, social media comments can even be viewed as similar to a media statement, even if your account is labelled “views are my own.” These comments can, and have, resulted in media inquiries to the SHA. Please refer to the Corporate Communications Policy for more information.
