Brand/SHA Logo Transition Guidelines
Brand transition timelines (updated March 2022)
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) continues transitioning from 12 former Regional Health Authorities (fRHA) into a single organization that thinks and acts as one. The speed of this transition can seem slow with the complex organizational structures and large number of items that need to be combined. In step with this process is the transition from fRHA visual identities to that of SHA.
No new materials shall be produced with reference to former-regional health authorities (inclusive of their logos and wording references). Area- specific information must include the SHA logo, and should also reference those areas accordingly (Regina and Area, Rosetown and Area, etc.), so as not to be confused with provincial standards.
We ask all areas to consider the following implications of re-branding material before they proceed:
- Has the need for re-branding been discussed with your associated provincial leaders with provincial coordination considered?
- Has the material targeted for re-branding been reviewed to verify its accuracy and relevancy for a provincial audience, and to ensure it does not contradict information used in other areas of the province or fRHAs?
- Contradicting information (or SHA branded material mistaken as a provincial standard) can lead to confusion and possible safety issues (e.g. clinical forms, guidelines and policies).
- Are there opportunities to standardize information into a provincial template that still allows for local area customization?
It is expected that all re-branding comply with the SHA Visual Identity Standards and that they be used as a guideline when considering re-branding and the provincial nature of your materials.
Working with your provincial leaders and team members to establish content and operational consistency should occur before investing time and resources into re-branding material. SHA-branded administrative and design templates (including PowerPoint presentations and posters) are available to assist with your re-branding efforts.
