What is Telehealth?
Telehealth is a secure, real-time video call between patients and health-care professionals in healthcare facilities. This service is available in many communities in Saskatchewan and allows patients and health-care providers to talk and see each other from different parts of the province.
Telehealth equipment is available in health facilities across Saskatchewan, managed by the Saskatchewan Health Authority, SaskCancer, Athabasca Health Authority and First Nations Communities. Teams from these health services partners collaborate to schedule Telehealth appointments using the secure Telehealth Saskatchewan network
