SHA Management System
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is committed to creating a culture of continuous improvement and safety. The framework that is being used to ensure the daily delivery of services are safe and reliable is the Saskatchewan Health Authority - Management System.
In the SHA, the delivery of safe, high quality care to the people of our province is a result of clinical services that deliver care directly to our patients, residents and families, and the support services that ensure that the clinical services can do their work.
The management system supports the deliver of care by providing the structures, processes, and tools to ensure that we are able to assess, evaluate, and improve the delivery of care on a day to day basis.
Grounded in the LEADS in a Caring Environment Framework, the Management System guides individuals to lead self, engage others, achieve results, develop coalitions and empower systems transformation; in an effort to advance a culture of continuous improvement and safety. By implementing the SHA Management System we are developing as culture of point of service leaders who are equipped with the knowledge and skills to utilize the right tools, at the right time, for the right purpose.
