PIER Committee – Patient Information and Education
PIER Approval
Patient information and education resources used in a clinical setting are to be approved by the PIER committee.
The average processing time for submitted documents is 30 days, but can vary depending on the priority work being processed. If your submission is urgent, or is intended to align with the publishing of other documents or processes, please notify Clinical Standards when submitting and provide details of the proposed deadline.
Currently, PIER documents are approved via email/SharePoint review by committee members. Complex clinical forms or those that require further explanation are reviewed via WebEx.
