Brand
The Saskatchewan Health Authority has started its journey in redefining how Saskatchewan residents receive health-care services. Each of you will now begin to create a unified health-care system which will ensure every person can expect and will receive high quality and timely care regardless of where they live in our province.
The geographic diversity of our province remains, but the boundaries once in place to administer health-care services will no longer exist. Our province will continue to appreciate the value of services delivered locally and the unique identities of communities. We, as a provincial system, will become more responsive to these local needs of patients, clients and residents.
Administrative lines will no longer get in the way of special care placement and emergency medical services. Integrated systems will enable nurses, physicians and support staff to coordinate their efforts and serve Saskatchewan residents and families better.
This vision of the future is what we will work towards. We will inspire confidence and hope, and give respect and compassion through every interaction. We will be defining who the Saskatchewan Health Authority is at its beginning and will strive to be in the years to come. Together, we will create our brand.
What is branding?
Branding is a two way street of truthfulness that guides and hold accountable all members who contribute to the brand. That means our patients, clients, residents and families will experience the brand we are committed to delivering as a provincial health system.
A brand is not a physical thing; products and services are. Brands don’t heal a wound, hold your hand during a painful procedure or provide comfort in your time of need; people do.
Saskatchewan Health Authority’s brand will depend on each of us creating positive experiences for every patient, client and resident.
Why visual identity first?
A consistent visual identity is an important foundational element in establishing a strong and recognizable brand. This is the start of our brand identity. So, to begin with , a consistent application of the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s logo and adherence to our Visual Identity Guide coupled with delivering positive experiences to our patients, residents and clients will be a pivotal first step in establishing our new identity. By following our visual identity standards, you are helping to build and protect our brand identity. This will become a valuable asset for everyone, including our foundations and educational/community partners.
We all want to deliver the best care possible for Saskatchewan residents and hope you will take great pride in being associated with the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
Visual identity is just the beginning. Our brand will continue to evolve over the coming months just as our new organization will, and we will build this together.
