Our COVID-19 Response
Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is looking to collaborate on our response to COVID-19 with those who have expertise: our physicians, SHA employees and industry experts. We will being using SHA Ideas to help facilitate the sharing of ideas, track, respond and act together on what we're learning.
Challenge questions specific to the COVID-19 response are now live on SHA Ideas. We are looking to your expertise in areas such as virtual care, 3D printing, what's worked in other places, and more.
How Do I Get Involved?
You can join SHA Ideas by registering at ideas.saskhealthauthority.ca. Once you have signed in, you can start contributing and collaborating on ideas.
How Does it Work?
- You can access SHA Ideas at work, at home, or on their smart-phone by going to ideas.saskhealthauthority.ca (best used on a Chrome or Firefox browser).
- You will be asked to register – if you use have an e-mail from one of the following accounts – saskhealthauthority.ca, usask.ca, saskcancer.ca, hqc.sk.ca, cma.ca, sma.sk.ca, 3shealth.ca, gov.sk.ca, health.gov.sk.ca – you'll be automatically approved.
- If you are using a different email, there's an extra approval step to confirm you are not a bot.
- You will receive a 'confirm your e-mail address' email (please check your junk folders).
- Once in SHA Ideas, you will see challenge questions that have been presented by teams working on COVID-19 response efforts in the SHA.
- Everyone is encouraged to share their ideas on how to tackle the problem/challenge. Brainstorming and collaboration is encouraged, and all ideas are considered.
- Ideas are seen by your peers, and participants can collaborate to build on each other's ideas. All ideas are reviewed daily and shared with teams either already working on similar approaches or who should know about the idea.
- SHA Ideas is a way to facilitate collaborative solutions from the experts working directly with patients, enabling us to find pockets of excellence and share them on a provincial scale.
