Resources for Hiring Managers
Onboarding is the intentional and strategic way people are brought into the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA). It focuses on acclimating to our culture, ensuring their safety, and how we guide and develop these new employees to become high performers in their role over the first 6+ months of their employment. It requires supervisor and senior leadership involvement to create a welcoming and supportive environment where the employee feels valued and a sense of belonging, right from the time they join the SHA.
Onboarding Overview
An overview of the onboarding process for new hires can be found on the main Onboarding page. Resources below will help managers learn and navigate the SHA Onboarding processes.
The SHA Onboarding & Orientation Improvement Project is a cross functional, continuous improvement project aimed to standardized onboarding and orientation activities provincially, while improving manager and employee experience.
