The OWNER and SPONSOR performs specific accountabilities in the development of clinical documents as outlined below.

Role Accountability

Requirements to support the project:

  • Clinical Standards - require an OWNER and SPONSOR
  • Clinical Procedures - require an OWNER and SPONSOR
  • Order Sets – require applicable AREA/DIVISION/DEPARTMENT/ PROVINCIAL PHYSICIAN LEAD and EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR to support the development. Refer to the Order Set Procedure for more information.
  • Clinical Forms – require an OWNER
  • Patient Information and Education Resource (PIER) – require an OWNER
  • Other General Clinical Documents – require an OWNER
