The SHA Large Scale Change team

Our Work
Some of the work the Large Scale Change team has done includes, but is not limited to:
- COVID-19 response – supported vaccine planning
- Local Health Network support
- Lead co-design of Health Network maturity assessment tool, and Elements of Network Development workbook
- Project support for EMS to expand community para-medicine
- Establish and maintain Health Network SharePoint that includes key resources that advance health networks
- Partner to develop Health Network profiles 2.0
- Developed an audio series to inspire each other with the stories or local teams advancing health networks
- Advance Tiers of Services in Primary Health Care
- Steward co-location agreements that embed the Health Network vision
- Partner with physician leaders to advance tri-leadership model
What to expect when partnering with S&I Large Scale Change team
The LSC team co-creates foundational tools to support Health Networks. In addition the team spreads the word of Health Networks by connecting with system leaders and partners to highlight the great work that is happing in networks.
SHA leaders can partner with us when they are working on a project to advance any of the element of Health Network development, but are stuck and need some additional support, coordination, structure, or alignment.

Health Networks
The S&I Large Scale team has been an integral partner in Health Network development.
The team has:
- Operationalized network development for local and provincial teams
- Co-developed a health network maturity assessment and planning tool
- Established a common location for key resources on health networks (SharePoint site)
- Contributed to creation of Network Profiles
- Helped establish health network geographies
- Supported mapping and realignment of teams, labour relations strategy, team development, digital heath, communications and community engagement
- Helped align local network development through visual management and pull plans
