Leader Resources submission form
Leader Resources email newsletter to leaders is distributed once a week, with a general edition on Wednesday to keep leaders informed of internal updates.
Leader Resources is a section of the SHA intranet containing key resources specific for SHA leaders.
Access to this section is limited to the executive leadership team (ELT), physician leaders, senior leadership team (SLT), SHA directors, SHA managers, and ELT/SLT administrative assistants. If you are a member of one of these groups and cannot see the menu item (shown below) or access the section, log into MyConnection and log the issue by visiting MyServices/Support for MyConnection/HR System and Analytics.
Guidelines for submission
Content must be
- Restricted to SHA leadership (ELT/SLT/directors/OOS managers)
- Related to SHA business or health care
- Include contact, deadline, or action information (if required)
- Provided as a succinct text-based message (preferred) or with an attachment/link for additional information
- Maximum 150 words
- Your submission must have executive director (ED) approval.
- Do not submit the same content to SHA Rounds and Leader Resources since leaders receive both publications. Determine whether your submission should be restricted to leaders, or if it is information all staff need. If leaders need to be aware of information being distributed in SHA Rounds please submit a short message directing leaders to Rounds.
Promoting surveys in Leader Resources have criteria that must be met:
- Must be restricted to SHA leaders.
- The surveys cannot be for personal use (projects, research, curiosity).
- The surveys must be pertinent to our declared organizational objectives for the year (related to that year’s SHA Roadmap), or there must be a clear operational need for the information that will be gathered by the survey.
- Approval for conducting the survey must be obtained in advance from a member of the executive leadership team (ELT) for the area most responsible for the survey.
- Surveys cannot be anonymous; a portfolio name and contact information must be attached to it and part of the promotion.
Submission deadline
- Leader Resources content is published Wednesday with an email update to leaders sent to highlight new items
- The deadline for content submissions is 2 p.m. on Tuesday - content submitted after this will appear the following week
Duration/frequency
- Leader Resources content will remain posted until no longer relevant
- New content will be highlighted in the "Leader Resources" email to leaders on Wednesdays - delivered at 11 a.m.
Format
- Adobe PDF documents are preferred - Word files can be submitted but will be converted to PDF (unless Word format is required)
- PowerPoint and MS Publisher files must to be converted into PDF files

All submissions must include a title and message. Ensure all information is included with your submission and it is no longer than 150 words with approval from the executive director.
