Overview
Description
- Hepatitis A IgG (in absence of HepA IgM) is an indicator of a patient’s immunity to hepatitis A infection

Collection procedure
- Collect blood in serum separator tube (gold top). Serum must be separated from whole blood by centrifugation within 24h of collection.
Required volume
- 1 SST (gold top) tube, 5mL

- Expected result: Non-Immune or Immune
- Immune indicates previous/past infection or vaccination.
- Please note the test is automatically added to HepA IgM negative specimens
