Engaging employees in AIMS testing
Employees are being engaged in several testing steps to help the AIMS project team understand how AIMS functions for employees in different organizations. Here’s a recap of testing results to date:
- About 1,200 employees assisted with targeted user testing in spring 2024. Results indicated 94 per cent of testers found the system intuitive and confirmed they could complete tasks without additional assistance. When asked about recommending the system to others, the score was 48, more than double the industry benchmark of 20. For reference, Amazon is considered an industry leader with a score of 51. The “ease of use” score was above average at 69.4 per cent, compared to the industry average of 68 per cent.
- The project team recently completed 10 weeks in integrated testing cycle to validate scheduling, time validation, accruals, and end-to-end testing, and to ensure everything is working as intended. The integrated testing cycle pass rate was 93 per cent, well above the targeted industry acceptance rate of 80 per cent.
- User acceptance testing and the Release Zero Live Pilot are currently in progress. More details on these are coming soon.
