AIMS reminders
Please review your information in MyConnection and make any updates as needed:
- Personal banking information
- Entitlement banks – including vacation, sick time, and more
- Compensation details – detailing your salary
- Personal Info – like contact information
- Emergency contact information
- Banking information – where your pay will be deposited
Entitlement banks for in-scope staff coming soon
With the switch to AIMS there are changes to the way accrual banks are displayed and when the information is available:
- Accrual banks will be displayed in MyConnection weekly on Wednesdays.
- Sick and vacation accruals occur monthly, and are displayed monthly, after the final day of the month is processed. For example, the June sick and vacation accruals occur were processed on Monday July 8 and viewable on Wednesday July 10.
- In scope earned time (Banked 1X) and time in lieu will be available for display in the near future.
If you have zero time displayed or notice discrepancies with your bank balances in MyScheduling, please check with your managers to confirm your balance before using the payroll inquiry tile. Follow this link to checking entitlement banks on MyConnection: Home (mykronos.com)
Access resources before logging a ticket
There is a learning curve for all of us in adjusting to the new functionality of AIMS within MyConnection. Before you log a ticket on MyConnection, please make sure you are accessing information that is readily available. This includes:
- Training materials: My Knowledge - AIMS Training for Employees (skhealth.ca)
- Videos: Instructional Videos of Tasks Employees Need to Know on Vimeo
- And knowledge documents relating to the subject. Learn how to find knowledge articles at the following link: My Knowledge - Finding Knowledge Articles in MyConnection (skhealth.ca)
Thank you for your effort and flexibility to learning and adapting during the first phase of AIMS implementation.
