MyScheduling update – Releases 1 and 2
- Employees in the former Kelsey Trail health region went live in MyScheduling for Release 2 on July 2. In the first week, employees accessed in-person support hosted in select locations in Melfort, Tisdale, Nipawin, Carrot River, Hudson’s Bay, Kelvington, Porcupine Plain, Arborfield, and St. Brieux. MyScheduling champions answered questions, directed employees to helpful online resources, and provided demonstrations on how to complete tasks. Many questions are covered in the eLearning training available online.
- Since Release 1 went live in May, a total of 204 incidents have been logged for resolution; 152 have been resolved and 56 are in progress as of July 4.
Updated timesheet approval deadline for managers
In response to feedback, the deadline for managers to approve employee timesheets has been updated to Monday at 10:00 a.m.
This change aims to better support managers with their review process. We will continue to assess this timing with each release and adjust as needed
Delegation privileges restored
Elevated delegation privileges have been restored for the employees who lost them. If you are still experiencing an issue, submit a MyConnection case.
If you are missing access after recent structure changes, please wait 24 hours for the changes to be reflected in the system. If issues continue after this time, submit a MyConnection case under the “system not working as intended” category and provide as much detail as possible.
Note: Through the Human Resources Portal, delegation is now at the job level as opposed to the full department level.
Update your notification preferences (Release 2)
Once you go live, remember to set your preferences to be notified of schedule updates and request approvals or denials.
If you do not, the system will notify you through all available methods, including phone, text, and email. Refer to this Quick Reference Guide or KB0012853 for instructions on how to update your notification preferences.
MyScheduling SGEU clarification
SGEU employees within the former Kelsey Trail region will use MyScheduling to:
- validate and submit timesheets,
- enter absence and leave requests, and
- initiate shift trades and named replacements for shift assignments (beginning the week of July 23).
Schedulers and managers will continue to contact employees directly to offer shifts. All shift offers and communications will follow existing legacy processes. A note will come from MyScheduling based on an employee’s notification preferences to advise them about an update to the schedule, such as a shift being awarded.
Availability forms (Release 2)
If you are a SGEU casual or part-time employee and you have not submitted your availability forms in MyScheduling yet, please do this as soon as possible.
As of July 2, 54 per cent of forms were submitted. If this is not done, the system will send you notifications about all available shifts. Refer to KB0012340, QRG, or view this video for assistance on how to submit your form.
For assistance, contact your manager. You can also call Quick Dial at 1-833-648-9342 and press option #4 for support.
