AIMS this week - September 12, 2024
The importance of people, data, processes and technology
Sent on behalf of Mark Anderson, CEO of 3sHealth; Michelle Mula, Vice President, Quality, Safety and Chief Information Officer for the SHA ; Mike Northcott, Chief Human Resources Officer for the SHA; Kelly Thompson, Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer for the SHA – Co-management team of AIMS.
Replacing and integrating a system like AIMS is full of complexities. People, processes, and technology must align for a successful transition. Our current work is focused on wave 1 in these four key areas:
- supporting health system employees through the transition and addressing individual challenges
- refining data from 12 former health regions and over 110 partner organizations
- aligning and updating hundred of processes
- making technological system enhancements
To facilitate our focused work in these areas over the coming months, we’ve ensured that the HR, finance, and supply chain management workstreams are set up for success. Gathering the right people from across the business to focus on the issues at hand will help us achieve solutions.
Additionally, task teams are now set up to anticipate and address expense claims, hiring backlogs, and other areas facing challenges.
We are committed to sharing the progress of this work throughout the coming months.
