College Drive project may result in travel delays
Patients, visitors, physicians, and staff may be spending a bit more time in traffic during their travels to and from Royal University Hospital (RUH), Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital (JPCH), and the Leslie and Irene Dubé Centre for Mental Health over the next few months.
Two-way traffic will be maintained but a City of Saskatoon water main maintenance project will disrupt traffic flow, resulting in travel delays on College Drive between Cumberland Avenue and Clarence Avenue from late April through October. Access to RUH, JPCH, and the Dubé Centre will continue as normal but be sure to plan travel to and from appointments and work with possible delays in mind. Patient, visitor and staff parking won’t be affected but employee shuttles may not be running on time due to the construction.
Pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists should be aware of construction zone safety and are encouraged to pay attention to signage, reduce speed, and travel with care. For updates on the project, visit www.saskatoon.ca/construction.
