Wellness Buses bringing care to those in need
Accessing primary health care and mental health and addictions services is getting easier for people facing barriers to timely care in Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert.
Community Wellness Buses are rolling out in the three cities. Watch a video tour of the Prince Albert bus.
The buses allow the Saskatchewan Health Authority to bring services directly to those in need, including routine health care, chronic disease management, mental health assessments, testing and treatment.
The Community Wellness Buses are a testament to the SHA's CARES values of compassion, accountability, respect, equity and safety, in their work.
The Regina bus has been in operation since February, with the Prince Albert and Saskatoon buses set to begin operating this spring.
