- 24 hour urine collection:
- Preferred collection container: Metal-free 24hour collection container
- Alternative collection container: Metal-free random urine container (orange, unlined lid)
Collection procedure
- Refer to 24 hour urine collection procedure
- Keep specimen cool during collection and after aliquotting
- If submitting aliquot of 24hour urine, provide volume and dates and times of collection
Required volume
- Optimal volume: 15 mL urine
Transport and stability
- Keep specimen refrigerated
