AIMS This Week - August 14, 2025
MyConnection and MyWork visual updates coming August 17
Effective August 17, MyConnection and MyWork will have a new look. The functionality will remain the same but with updated menus, icons and other visual elements.
This change is part of a regular vendor upgrade. Work standards are being updated to outline the visual changes and will be shared on August 21.
View your accrual balances in AIMS
“Accruals” include earned leave hours, such as vacation, sick time or statutory holidays. Accrual balances appear in MyScheduling in AIMS and help you plan time off and understand your available paid leave.
To view your accruals balance in AIMS, follow these simple steps:
- Go to the MyConnection login page.
- Navigate to MyWork > MyScheduling.
- On the MyScheduling dashboard, click the arrow on the “Accrual Balance by Accrual Code” tile.
- You’ll be directed to a detailed view of your accrual balances.

Release 4 details
Release 4, targeted for go-live September 24, includes approximately 11,600 in-scope employees from the former Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region, as well as employees at SHEPP, Cupar and District Nursing Home, Lumsden Heritage Home, William Booth Special Care Home, and Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home.
Release 4 information sessions
Upcoming info sessions (both virtual and in person) are available to walk you through key features of the new system, including demonstrations and question and answer opportunities. Information sessions help orient you to the new system, understand how key processes work and provide an opportunity to hear from experts on how the system will impact you. Go to the AIMS Info page on MyConnection for more information on dates, times and locations.
- In-scope e-Learning:
- Instructor-led training (ILT)
- Instructor-led training sessions allow employees to learn about the system through hands on demonstrations and opportunities to practice activities in the system and ask questions of subject matter experts in the room. Trainees receive access to the environment after the session and can continue practicing until go-live day.
- These sessions will run between August 25 – September 19 with both virtual and in-person options.
