Regina Urgent Care Centre delivers compassionate care to over 41,000 patients
Since opening its doors in July 2024, the Regina Urgent Care Centre (UCC) team has delivered same-day care for patients with non life-threatening illnesses and injuries, transforming health outcomes in Regina.
- 41,000+ patient visits
- 18,399 laboratory services
- 15,668 X-rays
- 5,140 electrocardiograms (ECGs)
- 2,470 ultrasounds
- 1,627 patients supported through Mental Health and Addiction Services
These results demonstrate the hard work of UCC’s health-care workers and physicians. Their dedication to delivering patient-centred care reflects the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s (SHA) CARES values of compassion, accountability, respect, equity and safety.
“Our staff and physicians at the Regina UCC continue to ensure patients receive the best care, as close to home as possible,” said Thomas Stewart, SHA Executive Director of Acute Care in Regina. “As we mark this milestone, we thank the entire UCC team for their flexibility, resilience and willingness to adapt to this first-of-its-kind facility and team-based model of care.”

One year after the July 2024 regina UCC opening we’re proud to celebrate a successful first year of providing same-day urgent care to the Regina community. Members of the Regina UCC team stand beside the UCC ultrasound machine, which was generously provided by the Hospitals of Regina Foundation and its donors. Thanks to their support, we can deliver the best possible care every day.
