Wave one stabilization progress update
Recent stabilization progress includes:
- we continue to meet demands in postings and applicant ranking reports,
- invoices to be paid have been reduced over 55 per cent in past seven weeks, and
- processes are in place to ensure SHA inventory is accurate and to prevent outages.
Grade step progression
Grade step progression (GSP) is the process which automatically calculates and moves eligible employees to a higher pay scale. In order to reach the required bank deposit deadlines every pay period, the GSP process runs after working hours are loaded, and the calculation of pay is complete. This means that progressions are occurring in the system after their eligibility date, resulting in retroactive pay.
For example, if an employee is eligible for a GSP within a pay period, they will see the adjustment reflected in the bank deposit of the next pay period.
Letters of offer notifications
As of November 29, if you are an existing health-system employee and have been hired into another position within the health-system, you can expect to receive your letter of offer through your personal email account. Please follow the instructions to accept the letter of offer shown in this video.

Change of hours for the MyConnection Inquiry Centre
Effective December 1, the MyConnection Inquiry Centre hours of operation have changed to Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. The centre will be closed on weekends and statutory holidays.
Help with your username and password resets remains available any time by using the self-serve functionality on the log in screen. The self-serve knowledge library is also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week on the MyConnection website where you can also submit a case with your inquiry. If you have already submitted a case, please watch your email for updates or view your case online under MyRequests.
MyScheduling logo update
The MyConnection logo at the top of the MyScheduling landing page will be updated to MyScheduling. The change is entirely visual, and it will function the same as before, by taking you back to the main MyScheduling page.
In-system guided learning (IGL) update
The in-system guided learning (IGL) supports employees using the MyWork functionality within MyConnection. Since September 1, guides have been run over 1.1 million times. There are over 960 unique guides built into the system to support you as you move through various processes and next steps on a daily basis.
