AIMS This Week - February 20, 2025
AIMS update
Recent AIMS highlights:
- T4 distribution is on track to be completed for the end of February, and
- engagement sessions were held with 90 managers to provide demos, facilitate discussion and gather feedback on the level of automation that should be implemented with time validation and scheduling.
Integrated testing cycle progress
Testing is being done on the final phase of AIMS which is referred to as time validation and scheduling. This type of testing involves simulating real-world scenarios, user journeys, and testing all critical business processes related to each system. By conducting end-to-end testing, potential issues can be discovered and resolved before the system goes live. It also helps to ensure that the system meets the needs of each organization and its users.
“The integrated testing cycle is covering critical readiness elements such as user access validation, interface testing and critical downstream validation,” said Basant Jain, Integrated Testing Cycle (ITC) Lead. “Feedback from this testing phase will be instrumental in preparing for the next testing cycle, user acceptance testing (UAT), and finally deployment.”
The ITC testers are working closely with their respective developers, leads, and stakeholders to validate functionality, ensuring the system aligns seamlessly with the businesses requirements. The team plans to thoroughly test over 600 unique scenarios, including time validation, scheduling, accruals, and more. As of now, they have completed over 78 per cent of the overall scenarios and actively addressed several defects early in the process. Ultimately, testing enhances user experience by ensuring smooth and reliable system operation.
In-system guided learning update
In-system guided learning (IGL) supports employees using the MyWork functionality within MyConnection. Since January 1, guides have been run over 250,000 times. There are over 960 unique guides built into the system to support you as you move through various processes and next steps on a daily basis.
When in MyWork, click on the flashing icon for a learn-as-you-go experience. View this quick tutorial to find out more. Have feedback? Need support? Use the feedback links in the IGL tool to let us know how we can help.
